Guangzhou Research Institute of Non-ferrous Metals (GZRINM) has over twenty years experience in thermal spray research and development. The major research activities include LPPS, APS and HVOF coatings. With so many years development, GZRINM has become a large thermal spray R&D base with advanced thermal spray equipments and experienced engineering and technical personals. Guangdong Provincial R&D Center for Surface Engineering and Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory for Modern Surface Engineering Technology have been established in GZRINM.GZRINM has successfully completed many research projects of the nation, Guangdong province and industrial departments. GZRINM was awarded many times by the nation and by Guangdong province. The project titled R&D of New Thermal Spray Technologies and Coating Materials has won the second prize of the National Science & Technology Progress Prize.
